• Requirement/Demand Received: Catharsis International receives the demand letter from the foreign employer, specifying the type and category of workers required, terms of service, and offered benefits.
• Requirement Analysis: The requirements are analyzed to ensure clarity and feasibility.
• Vacancy Advertisement: The vacancy is advertised to attract suitable candidates.
• Shortlisting Candidates: Best candidates are shortlisted from the Government Data Bank or through direct sourcing.
• Interview & Evaluation: Candidates are recruited and pre-selected for the employer’s evaluation and final selection. Foreign employers may interview pre-selected candidates in person or via telephone/online if a physical interview is not feasible. BMET-accredited private testing centers may evaluate technical skills, supported by a skills evaluation certificate.
• Document Submission: Selected candidates’ documents are submitted to the employer.
Employment Offer: Candidates who successfully pass the final selection are issued an employment offer by the foreign employer, subject to the candidate’s acceptance.
Medical Examination: Upon accepting the offer, candidates are required to undergo comprehensive medical and physical examinations to ensure their fitness for overseas employment.
Visa & Power of Attorney: Catharsis International manages all necessary documentation and formalities with BAIRA. The foreign employer may authorize Catharsis International through a Power of Attorney to handle visa processing on their behalf.
Visa Advice: The required authorizations from the host country—such as Visa Advice are provided to Catharsis International to facilitate the deployment process.
Employment Agreement/Contract: The employer may submit a proforma of the Employment Agreement along with the Demand Letter, Visa and Power of Attorney. All documents must comply with the recruitment laws and regulations of Bangladesh.
The employment contract is typically valid for two years and may be renewed by mutual agreement between both parties. Benefits such as vacation leave, sick leave, and overtime pay will be provided in accordance with the labor laws of the host country.
The employer will also provide the worker with an insurance policy covering all work-related risks. Furthermore, any additional benefits mandated by the labor laws of the host country will be extended to the worker. All other employer-employee matters will be governed by the provisions of the master employment contract.
Prior to the workers’ departure, Catharsis International secures the required recruitment permission and immigration clearance from the Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training (BMET) under the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment (MoEWOE).
Workers receive basic orientation and pre-departure briefing, covering duties, responsibilities, salary, cultural values, weather, language, and work environment in the host country. The employer may join the session.
Catharsis International coordinates and finalizes all travel arrangements in accordance with the approved deployment schedule. This includes confirming flight bookings, preparing travel documents, and ensuring timely departure of workers as per the agreed plan. All necessary assistance is provided to ensure a smooth and well-organized travel experience from Bangladesh to the host country.
Catharsis International actively collects feedback from both clients and candidates to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of its recruitment services. This feedback helps identify areas for improvement, strengthen service standards, and ensure the continued satisfaction of employers and workers alike.
